Throughout the years I have followed an unconventional path for an architect. Upon graduation, I immediately employed with a local architect-developer and fell in love with the idea of being able to design your own projects. However, this position was short lived as financial shortcomings at the firm didn’t allow for a consistent position. Soon, a possibility arose to expand my area of expertise. I left to work for an established architecture firm – a firm that specialized in multifamily and senior care facilities. After an extensive period of working at this firm I started to long for the creative freedom which came with working for a developer, I decided to give it another shot. This has led me to my current role.
I currently serve as a designer and architect for a few local developers. Projects range from single family homes to townhomes, and from cottage cluster developments to multifamily developments. With over a dozen homes permitted, I look forward to providing design services to those in need.
Design Philosophy
A balanced approach is important in designing timeless spaces; spaces that will serve users for many decades. At our firm we believe this balance needs to be achieved through a balance of function, beauty, and environment.
- Timeless Appeal: Spaces that stay relevant and functional over time.
- Functionality: Purpose driven design, intent behind each choice.
- Beauty: Elegant and seamless lines in elevation and plan.
- Environment: Integration of local materials and design styles.
